In 1995, M. And Mrs Boucher semi-retired and sold their forestry contracting company (J.N.B. Logging Ltd.) and formed Angel Wood Enterprises Inc. The name "Angel Wood" comes from his mother name "Angeline".

In 2002, M. And Mrs. Boucher helped Daniel Boucher start his own delimbing business working for H.Fiset's and Sons which is for the Domtar sawmill in Elk Lake, Ontario.

In 2005, Daniel bought his father shares and became on his own. Since then, Angel Wood has grown considerably and decided to diversify because of the in certainty of the forestry sector and also went in construction. He has also seen an opportunity in the firewood business and explored it. Selling cut and split firewood to residential homes and bagging wood for sale in commercial stores.

In 2009, Daniel bought a local private cut contractor out . Buying road building and cutting equipment would help Daniel be more independent and more efficient is firewood purchasing.

The business is a home-based operation ran by Daniel located in Thornloe, Ontario, Canada. Dan and his staff continue to provide excellent service to Northern Ontario and beyond.

Between 2010 and 2018 Northern Ontario's forestry sector underwent significant restructuring, moving from a severe economic crisis toward modernized, sustainable management. Which in effect cause a lack of work for my company. Lots of workers heading to the mining sector causing a shortageworkers in forestry. So deciding to downsize once again in 2017, selling off most of my construction and forest harvesting machines, only keeping my trucking and firewood.
